 Why are we smiling? It's hot.
Stay on the trails. Snakes are afraid of man-made trails. That can't be right, can it?


What with the rocks on the roof?

 Shower stalls. Good times.

Favorite nightly hang out. Just sit around and gab and eat bounty scored from kitchen raid.


 Cabin sweet cabin. No plumbing. No electricity. No crying.

 Fire ban. Brought in the big grill for S'mores.


Every day. Swimming cool off time. The large rope course is glimpsed in the distance.

Taco Soup


We used to have Roast most Sundays but the 4 Males of my household have found a new favorite. It's easy to make and they all love it (a rarity) so I'm good with it. 

1-lb hamburger meat, cooked
Can of Ranch Style beans, drained & rinsed
Can of Minestrone soup
Can of Rotel tomatoes
Fritos or Doritos
Water for thickness or thinness (Or beef broth)

I've played around with it some and added Taco seasoning and cheese, but found that the Rotel gives it enough flavor. 

The picture above has regular Torilla strips I tried today to be fancy and slices of avocado put in just before eating. However, the Males much prefer to pour the soup over the Fritos so guess I'll stick with those.
